Retention re-scoped to the public-storage tier: the free 1 GB stores publicly shared vlogs, kept for as long as they remain publicly shared. The lapse row now preserves public vlogs only (newest first, up to the allowance); private vlogs without a paid plan stay on your device and are not uploaded.
